Last Line Of Defense

March 1, 2010

Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, was the site of a battle that turned the tide of America’s Civil War. One of the focal points of the conflict was a rocky knoll called Little Round Top where Colonel Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain and the men of the 20th Maine Infantry stood their ground. Had the Confederate troops gotten past Chamberlain’s men, some historians believe the Union army would have been surrounded—possibly leading to the loss of the war. The “20th Maine” was the last line of defense.

In The StudioIt is with mixed emotions we communicate a significant change in plans for RBC Ministries and In the Studio with Michael Card.  Both organizations have agreed to discontinue production of the weekly radio program, In The Studio, with the final broadcast airing the weekend of March 29, 2009.

RBC Ministries and Michael Card will continue to collaborate on other media projects together.  Michael has a long history with the organization through writing books and music, and through occasional appearances on Day of Discovery television.

It is the hope of both organizations that this mutual re-allocation of time, energy and resources will ultimately lead toward greater impact in the Kingdom.
